Practical mic boom
The On-Stage MBS5000 Broadcast Boom arm is a very flexible and useful microphone mount. It is sturdy and well made, and has a built-in XLR cable, which is perticularly convenient. I use it with my AKG studio mic in a shockmount, and it works perfectly. The weight of the mic assembly is no problem. The arm is easily adapted to every recording situation, and comes with a table clamp as well as a fixed mount option. It serves my purpose exactly.
